BRASS DENT PATTERN FOR DEWEY CAP BOMB. Originally a 16-head Dewey bust pattern (missing 2) affixed to a brass tree. Found on the third floor of the famous Dent Factory (Fullerton, PA). The factory closed operations during the early 1970’s, and several patterns and parts were acquired from the subsequent owner after the closure. Occasionally, individual patterns might be found, but this is the only known example where patterns are still gated to their tree. A rare opportunity to add such a historical piece to one’s collection. SIZE: 13 1/2″ l. x 5 1/2″ w. CONDITION: Near excellent. MC 1-4222 (700-900) Auction: Advertising, Toy & Doll - Spring 2005 Please Note: All prices include the hammer price plus the buyer’s premium, which is paid by the buyer as part of the purchase price. The prices noted here after the auction are considered unofficial and do not become official until after the 46th day. |
