19TH CENTURY FIRE HOSE TRADE SIGN. Lathe turned wood painted trade sign in the shape of a fire hose with wrought iron bracket. SIZE: 34″ l. CONDITION: Very good with nice old alligatored red paint, possibly touched-up at a later date. The carved turnings and painted silver portions exhibit some chipping and evidence of previous gilt paint. 1-13431 (600-1,200)
