PATENT MODEL MACHINE FOR CEMENTING SHOES. Patented November 11, 1879 by J.B. Johnson, #221,567. Wooden framework with center unit that holds boot in place with several brass pins (3 missing). Accompanied by original patent and receiving tags (good but darkened). SIZE: 11″ h x 10-1/2″ l. PROVENANCE: The late Terry Wesner collection, Chelsea, Michigan. CONDITION: Good to very good with wood chip to one corner. 1-12658 (500-800)
