FINE PRUSSIAN FLINTLOCK MUSKET WITH BAYONET. Cal. 75. NSN. 41” rnd bbl. Marked “POTZDAMAGAZ” on the lockplate, partially covered by the hammer. Prussian crest is on the thumb piece. There are proof marks on the bbl but they are not legible. The 13-1/2” socket bayonet is too large for the stud on the bottom of the bbl, and slightly large for the diameter of the bbl. CONDITION: Mostly brown patina with some heat scale on the bbl. This is a good reconversion using old parts. Stock has been broken through the lock area with some repairs visible and others not completed, but is generally good. 4-57244 FS233 (3,000-5,000)
