The award is an 8-1/2″ dia. blue & white Jasperware Wedgwood plaque incorporating the traditional Wedgwood figure of Apollo, God of Light and the Arts, designed by Josiah Wedgwood & Sons. The plaque has been mounted in a shadow box, framed in gilt wood with black felt background. It is accompanied by its original red leather presentation box.
