PATENT MODEL MACHINE FOR MANUFACTURING BOOT AND SHOE HEELS. Patented March 2, 1875 by William Stevens, #160,481. Heavy iron and brass circular press with hand crank wheel with sample heel in place. Retains two brass plaques with inventors name. Accompanied by original patent tag (slightly deteriorated tag). SIZE: 12″ l. PROVENANCE: The late Terry Wesner collection, Chelsea, Michigan. CONDITION: Very good plus. Some light oxidation and paint chips. 1-12678 (600-1,200)
