ATTRACTIVE JUMEAU BEBE. With red stamp on head “8” and remainder of marks removed by acid leaving a white square above the “8”. Lovely blue paperweight eyes, well painted closed mouth, attached to the original wood and composition body bearing paper label on torso “BEBE JUMEAU DIPLOME D’HONNEUR”. She has been re-costumed in an 1890s style pink dress with antique lace overlay with matching bonnet and wearing a brown human hair wig over cork pate and brown leather boots (badly deteriorating). SIZE: 19″ (49cm). CONDITION: Body is in overall good condition, however head has spider shaped crack on forehead which has been reinforced inside of the head with gauze, tape and glue.
