EARLY UNMARKED JUMEAU BEBE. Nice cabinet size doll with head incised “7” with closed smiling mouth, pierced ears, brown paperweight eyes on original French wood and composition body which is fully jointed other than having straight wrists. She wears a newer sheepskin wig over cork pate and a pretty antique two-piece robins egg blue silk and lace costume, lacking shoes. SIZE: 9″ (23cm) t. CONDITION: Head has been professionally restored, most likely covering several cracks; most of restoration is on the forehead and upper right side of head. Body shows typical age wear and scrubbing with some repaint to forearms. 1-12454 (1,500-2,000)
