1958 MURRAY ATOMIC MISSILE PEDAL CAR. Fabulous and rare chain driven pedal car for every space-minded boy of the 1950s (chain now absent). This cruiser with wing shaped back is painted brown with white highlights have decals of rockets and flame decals shooting out of the bottom. Steel wheels with rubber tires, faux rocket control levers, steel steering wheel, and formed metal seat. Secondary lever on side attached to interior flapper to adjust noise level while riding (ala card in the spokes). SIZE: 44″ l. CONDITION: Very good with overall wear, scuffing and oxidation, most notably to nose and back wings. Front wheel may be a replacement. 1-11701 (1,500-2,000)
