UNMARKED FRENCH FASHION DOLL. Attractive French Fashion with head incised “2”; most likely a Jumeau with exceptionally pretty light blue paperweight eyes, closed slightly smiling mouth, pierced ears mounted on separate shoulder plate which is in turn mounted on an all white leather kid body with gussets at elbows, hips and knees. She is attractively dressed in a lime green and black striped silk skirt with green velvet jacket and silk trim which matches skirt with bonnet also made of same material as the costume. The antique dark blond mohair wig appears original as does the cork pate. Undergarments are also old, lacking shoes. SIZE: 15″ (38cm) t. CONDITION: Overall very good with slight age discoloration to leather body and a minuscule scratch in the bisque just below the left eyebrow. 1-12393 (1,500-2,500)
