MUSICAL AUTOMATON WITH TWO MUSICIANS. Most likely from the 1920s, this hand crank automaton with music features male and female figures with jester type attire. When the crank is activated, the figures who are seated upon a bench, raise and lower their arms and their heads turn from side to side. The wooden box is trimmed in a paper pattern with gold trim and gold paper. Rear of bisque heads are marked “GK” in a sunburst. SIZE: 10″ w x 6-1/2″ d x 10″ h. CONDITION: Overall very good. One head has hairline. 1-10488 (800-1,200)
