LOT OF 11 WINCHESTER CARDBOARD SIGNS. Assorted incomplete cardboard signs for Winchester window displays. From March 1920 through 1928, Winchester produced sets of cardboard panels designed to be inserted into a hinged wood frame for the store retailer to use as a window display. The sets were dated with the specific week or weeks Winchester intended the retailer to display them, with the products portrayed corresponding to the appropriate season. It is believed that approximately 100 different sets were produced in all. SIZE: Each 18-1/4″ w. x 40″ t. CONDITION: Ranges from poor to very good. 1-9659 (500-1,000)
