FEDERAL INLAID MAHOGANY SIDEBOARD. Circa 1810. Probably New York, the rectangular one board top with serpentine front above the conforming case fitted with a bow-front long drawer over a pair of bowed cabinet doors, all flanked by a deep drawer and door, each with concave fronts, raised on 6 tapered legs. The drawers and doors all with inlaid diamond escutcheons and contrasting string inlays. The legs, headed by elliptical stringing and with satinwood crossbanded cuffs. SIZE: 38-1/2″ h x 70″ l x 23″ d. CONDITION: Professional restored and refinished with replaced hardware. Slight shrinkage crack at midpoint of top, left side facing. Small diamond patch proper right side of top near center. Overall very good medium brown color. 9-96438 (1,000-2,000)
