IMPORTANT LARGE FAMILLE VERTE PORCELAIN FISH BOWL. 19th century, China. The exterior decorated with panels of flowering plants and song birds within diaperwork floral borders. Mounted with opposing guardian lion mask handles. The rim lid polychrome decorated with a procession of kylin. The interior decorated with a variety of exotic fish swimming amongst aquatic plants. Mounted on a carved rosewood stand with four legs with cross stretchers. Now offered with a custom round plate glass top. SIZE: Bowl: 19-1/2″ h x 25-3/4″ dia. Overall with stand: 32″ h x 32″ dia.
