FINE CHARLEVILLE MODEL 1763 FLINTLOCK MUSKET US SURCHARGED. Cal. 69. 44-7/8” rnd bbl. There is a small “US” stamp on the bbl in front of the Fleur-de-lis sunken cartouche. The tang of the bbl is engraved “M1763” with the toe of the “M” running over onto the bbl. An issue marking “38” is stamped in large numbers on the wrist. CONDITION: Smooth brown patina overall. Stock has normal dents and scratches. Mechanically good. 4-57262 FS179 (3,000-5,000)
