WIDE EYED JUMEAU BEBE. Head stamped in red “Depose Tete Jumeau Bte S.G.D.G. 10” with an incised “10” marking at the base of the neck socket featuring huge blue paperweight eyes, closed mouth with slight molded space between the lips, on original fully jointed wood and composition body stamped on the torso in blue “Bebe Jumeau Diplomme d’Honneur”. Costume was expertly crafted from antique blue plaid silk with dropped sash waist, dark blue velvet panels on jacket and lovely red buttons down center in front; all trimmed in fine antique lace. Wig is a replacement dark human hair over cork pate and shoes are replaced antique brown leather. SIZE: 22″ (56cm). CONDITION: Overall very good with some minor paint touch-up on the hands. 1-12384 (1,500-2,000)
