V. S. L. (19th/20th Century) THE TOY MAKER. Oil on canvas on backing board interior shop scene shows a craftsman seated on a wood box in front of a table painting a hobby horse. Various tools and paint cans are scattered amongst the interior with some other toys. Through the large store front window are seen five onlookers. Signed lower right “V S L”. Housed in a modern burl wood frame. SIZE: 11-3/4″ x 15-1/2″. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Geraldine Gaba, Scottsdale, AZ. CONDITION: Very good. 9-94811 (500-800)
