CHARLES ROSWELL BACON (American, 1868-1913) THE YELLOW PARASOL. Large oil on canvas scene shows a woman in white dress with open yellow parasol. She descends three stairs next to fountain in garden park setting. Beautiful flowers surround fountain area and column gazebo is seen with several figures. Signed bottom right “C. R. Bacon”. Housed in an outstanding 6” carved and gilt arts and crafts style replacement frame. An outstanding soft pastel colored painting with wonderful subject matteter. SIZE: 37” x 45-1/4”.
