DOOR OF HOPE: TWO VILLAGE PEOPLE. Man wears a gold long brocade robe over purple trousers with an indigo brocade tunic with high collar and braid ties across the chest and is topped with an original black cap having tiny knit pompom on top. Female has painted hair with carved circular bun in back held in place by a gold painted hair pick. She has a floor length black skirt covering gray/blue brocade trousers and wears a pink brocade tunic with high collar with pale blue ribbon decorations. Her cap covers only the center of her head, ties under the chin and is edged with gray bead trim. SIZE: Man is 11-1/2” (29cm) t. Woman is 11” (28cm) t. CONDITION: Some facial discoloration with slightly darker color to lips than typically seen. Believed to be original color having been in a trunk since their initial purchase many years ago.
