SCRIMSHAW DECORATED SWORDFISH BILL. 19th/20th Century. Bill fish sword scrimshawed with a swordfish, clipper ship under sail, maiden beneath a tree, displayed eagle above the great American seal and 6 crossed flags, a female bust, and a panel with a South American rider on horseback beneath a floral spray. Now mounted as a ceremonial sword with scrolled and carved hilt. SIZE: 42-1/2″ l. CONDITION: Tip of sword is broken. Wear to gilt decoration, substantial damage to knuckle guard. 9-97010 (800-1,200)
