NANTUCKET PURSE, UNMARKED. Mid 20th century. Of oval form with hinged conforming lid, rawhide strap hinges and clasp fitted with a swing handle, the purse with bone locking pin. The lid and body each mounted with oval hardwood board. SIZE: 11-1/2″ h overall, 6-1/2″ h of purse, 9-1/2″ l, 6-3/4″ w. CONDITION: The woven material overall very good, the rawhide fittings in need of replacement, handle and bone fittings good. 9-96395 (300-500)
