UNMARKED FRENCH FASHION DOLL. Pale bisque socket head on separate bisque shoulder plate with outstanding two-tone blue paperweight eyes, closed slightly smiling mouth, pierced ears on a kid leather body with gussets at elbows, hips and knees and wearing a one piece printed wool costume with lace trim at the collar and sleeves with black leather shoes impressed on the sole “D” within a circle with “00”. Her wig is a later blond human hair replacement over cork pate. Although unmarked, most likely a Jumeau. SIZE: 15″ (38cm). CONDITION: Overall very good with slight typical age wear to body. As is typical of these dolls, one eye cut seems to droop a little more than the other. 1-12388 (2,000-2,500)
