SIZE 1 TETE JUMEAU BEBE. Head has red stamp reading “Depose Tete Jumeau Bte S.G.D.G.1” and also having an incised “1”. She has large blue paperweight eyes, closed mouth, evenly arched multi-stroked eyebrows, pierced ears and is on the original fully jointed wood and composition body which is stamped in blue “BEBE JUMEAU Diplome d’Honneur”. She has been redressed in a 1890s style blue satin dress with white lace trim and appropriate but newer white leather boots. Wig is dark human hair over the original cork pate. SIZE: 9-1/2″ (24cm) t. CONDITION: Very good. Even coloring with very minor speckling on left cheek. Body finish is original with only slight typical age wear. 1-12524 (2,500-3,500)
