SIZE 1 TETE JUMEAU BEBE. Bisque head stamped in red “DEPOSE TETE JUMEAU Bte S.G.D.G. 1”. She has large blue paperweight eyes, closed mouth, pierced ears, evenly arched multi-stroked eyebrows and is on the original fully jointed wood and composition body which is stamped in blue “JUMEAU MEDAILLE D’OR PARIS”. She has been nicely re-costumed in a cream cotton and lace overlay dress with a newer brown human hair wig (lacking cork pate). Luckily she retains an extremely nice pair of original Jumeau shoes which are pink silk and fully marked on the soles with gold lettering markings corresponding with the markings on the back of the head. SIZE: 9-1/2″ (24cm) t. CONDITION: Body finish is original. Minor speckling on left cheek with very minor raised mold line emitting from nose to the eye. 1-12523 (3,000-4,000)
