LOT OF TWO ALL-ORIGINAL FRENCH DOLL (AS IS). Direct from the home of original owner, these were two outstanding French bisque dolls, however, both heads are seriously damaged. Nevertheless, these two Jumeaus both have wonderful original straight wrist bodies, original clothing, although somewhat tattered, and both with original blue leather marked Jumeau shoes signed “E.JUMEAU PARIS”, the larger pair marked “9” and the smaller marked “8”. The smaller doll has brown paperweight eyes and is incised “E8J” and the larger is incised simple “9” at the base of the neck. Present, although not intact at this time are her original blue paperweight eyes. SIZE: Larger 20-1/2″ (52cm). Smaller 19″ h (48cm). CONDITION: Although lovely, both heads severely damaged and reglued. 1-9828, 1-9829 (1,800-2,800)
