EXTREMELY PRETTY BRU BEBE. Bisque socket head with blue paperweight eyes, closed mouth with slight molded space between the lips, pierced ears, thick multi-stroked eyelashes, head incised “Bru-Jne 7” on bisque shoulder plate incised “Bru-Jne” on left side of shoulder and “5” on the right side of shoulder. The gusseted body has its original paper label on torso and has kid over metal upper arms with lower legs and lower arms being wood. She wears an antique French blond mohair wig over cork pate and has what appears to be original undergarments, original cordovan leather incised on the soles “Bru-Jne Paris 7”. She has two dresses; one antique cotton and lace and a fancier party dress made from pleated maroon silk with dark burgundy velvet and mauve pleated silk at bottom of skirt. In addition, there is an antique black wool hat with black feathers and cloth flowers. Gloves covering the lower arms and hands appear to be original. SIZE: 17″ (44cm) t.
