LIONEL MICKEY MOUSE CIRCUS TRAIN W/ORIGINAL BOX. This is one of the most desirable toys for Mickey Mouse collectors, with cross-over appeal for train collectors. Engine is painted red, cars are brightly lithographed with scenes of Mickey Mouse and his friends; coal car with operating Mickey Mouse stoker. Also comes with track and large composition Mickey, the barker for the circus, who originally stood near cardboard cut-outs of circus tent, side shows, tickets, etc. Only cardboard remaining in this set is the tickets. Box with “No. 1536″ on two sides is lithographed with a scene of the train arriving in front of the circus. SIZE: Engine 7” l. CONDITION: Engine is very good, with some minor wear at the high edges. Lithographed circus cars are near mint, also the stoker and the barker. Box is slightly darkened, with minor tears and some tape on corners; overall, very good plus. 1-10378 (3,500-4,500)
