VERY PRETTY EARLY E.J. JUMEAU BEBE. Exceptionally lovely doll incised “E.J. (over) 6″ with large brown paperweight eyes, closed mouth with slight white molded space between nicely highlighted lips, pierced ears on early French wood and composition body with eight separate ball joints. No markings found on body. Costume is an elaborate pale pink silk (faded) with burgundy velvet trim and ecru lace wearing all antique undergarments and antique brown leather French shoes (worn). Wig is a replacement honey human hair wig over the skull cap of the original sheepskin wig which covers the cork pate. SIZE: 16” (42cm) t. CONDITION: Very good, however one forearm has a distinctly different shape than the other. 1-12289 (3,000-5,000)
