BASSETT-LOWKE LIVE STEAM ENGLISH OUTLINE ENGINE & TENDER. With markings LMS 5900. A more elaborate and deluxe model than the previous lot, this is a 4-6-0 outline with a six wheel tender. Once again, as mentioned in the previous lot, these are fabulous toys/models. This train, as well as the previous, appear to have had very little usage as the boilers show no sign of overheating and paint decay. A great piece, and all three of these engines have come from the same family. Included with this lot are two passenger cars and a postal car. SIZE: 24″ l. CONDITION: Overall engine & tender are very fine to near mint. Postal car is very fine with minor flaking to roof. Passenger cars are poor condition with excessive flaking. 1-9825 (800-1,200)
