EDISON MAZDA LAMPS OUTDOOR LIGHT WITH MAXFIELD PARRISH ILLUSTRATION. Very rare and desirable two-sided tin sign with the Maxfield Parrish illustration he originally designed in the early 1920s. This example includes the original riveted, painted galvanized metal hood and hanging brackets which are very seldom found. The sign is set within the original oak frame and wrapped by a wrought iron support. SIZE: Sign sight: 17-7/8″ t x 22-1/4″ w; overall: 27-1/2″ w x 34″ t x 11-1/4″ d. CONDITION: Overall very good to excellent. All components of this sign appear to be original. Both sides display very nicely and have rich saturated blues and greens. One side has a light craquelure to the surface with a few minor scuffs while the other side has some very light scattered blemishes. It’s likely the sign would be greatly enhanced with a thorough cleaning. 1-13268 (2,500-3,500)
