GAULTIER FASHION IN TRUNK W/ ELABORATE WARDROBE & ACCESSORIES. Doll itself is incised “7” with separate bisque shoulder head with gorgeous blue threaded eyes, nicely highlighted lips, nice even coloring, wearing original honey colored human wig on cloth body with white kid forearms with individually stitched fingers. She is wearing an elaborate bridal costume made of ivory silk and a long veil with cloth flowers and newer white leather shoes. She is contained in a large wooden trunk with leather handles with separate compartment at top, pullout drawer with glove box to one side with the doll and extra clothing fitting below. Besides the dress she is wearing there are five elaborate full costumes made primarily of antique silk, lace and a silk brocade. In the top compartment there are five separate bonnets as well as an additional bonnet with matching cape, a four ring wire hoop to elevate the skirt, corset, additional undergarments and a faux fur fox muff and collar. In the tray are an ivory and feather fan, dresser set with combs, brushes, mirrors and powder applicators, a bone handle walking stick, a black parasol, two additional pairs of shoes, beaded stockings, sewing set in velvet case with knife, hook for hooks and eyes etc. Jewelry box with six purses and another box containing binoculars, a cameo, a fan, perfume bottle amongst others including an autograph book, a pocketwatch, a calendar with notepad, a bible, a set of playing cards, a tortoise shell hair comb with jeweled edge and a rosary. There is a jewel box with various brooches and necklaces and six unopened cards containing matching necklaces and earrings. This is an exceptional lot and rarely found in this state of completeness.
