LOT OF FOUR ENGLISH FOX HUNTING PRINTS. Lot consists of a set of four (“The Leap”; “Going to Cover”; “Full Cry” and “The Death”). The colored engravings after paintings by H. Alken and engraved by C. Bentley, published in London, October 1, 1828 by S & J Fuller. Along with a French fox hunting print titled “La Chafse au Renard Fox Hunters No. 5″. After a painting by C. Vernet and engraved by Levacher. Not dated, 19th Century. All housed in similar black painted frames with gilt trim and water highlighted mattes. SIZE: Sight: 1-4) 14″ x 18-1/2″. 5) 15″ x 18-1/2”. PROVENANCE: Estate of Henry A. Rudkin Jr, (family of the founders of Pepperidge Farm). CONDITION: Not examined out of frames. Some light toning, one with water stains, some foxing. 9-98982 (250-400)
