MAURICE BRAUN (American, 1877-1941) SAN DIEGO LANDSCAPE. Outstanding oil on canvas colorful scene shows a valley floor with green fields leading to a mountain range with further blue mountain range beyond. In the foreground is a rock, flower and grass covered hillside, all under a blue and white cloud sky. Lightly signed lower right “Maurice Braun”. Housed in its original gilt molded wood frame with gilt liner (one inside molding edge is missing which shows the clean line of the painting and indicates that the painting will brighten up substantially when cleaned).
