SALESMAN SAMPLE STAR WINDMILL. Wooden model with brass hardware, this finely detailed model consists of six sections of thin wood slats around a center hub and a large tail painted “Star Mill Flint & Walling Mfg. Co. Kendallville, Ind.” on one side and “Star Mill Pat. Nov. 12, 1878″ on the other. Brass hardware folds tail off to the side to disable it. Mounted to wooden derrick base. Accompanied by reissue catalog/spec sheet for another Star Windmill model. SIZE: 15″ l x 11-3/4″ h x 10-3/4” diam. CONDITION: Overall good, however all tips that should extend beyond the outside wheel are no longer present, as well as a few broken blades and tail tips. Still displays well. 1-12752 (2,000-3,000)
