FINE EARLY WIDE HIPPED KATHE KRUSE DOLL W/ OB. This young lady is in as found, all original condition and comes directly from a Massachusetts estate. The elderly gentleman who owned this doll was in his late 80s and was an accumulator of many different things. The doll itself overall is in very fine condition with light soiling to clothes and body, and minimal wear to painted facial features. An excellent original box with original tie-downs intact and a label on lower front quarter indicating “Grand Prix Gent, 1913” with model number written in pencil and “Germany”. Box is in very fine condition. Box lid has loss/damage to flaps. As typical, underside of foot is stamped with number and signature. Well defined facial features and painting with minor rub to nose, most likely from box lid. A fine excellent early example and fresh to the market. SIZE: 17″ h.
