FINE NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND HARDWOOD DEEP TRENCHER IN RED WASH. Early 19th century. This fine example with protruding carved carrying handles of rectangular form with steeply canted sides in original finish. Together with a food chopper marked “G. S. Osborne & Co. Newark, N.J. Established 1826”. SIZE: Bowl: 6-3/4″ h x 29″ l x 18″ w. CONDITION: The chopping bowl with old chips on end edges. The interior heavily scratched from usage. The chopper in very good overall condition. The handle with original finish. 9-97254 (2,000-3,000)
