RARE PORCELAIN KOKEN SALESMAN SAMPLE BARBER CHAIR. This leather, nickel and porcelain salesman sample for a Koken barber chair is one of the most desirable of all salesman samples. These samples were made in exacting detail and include ornate nickeled foot rest with raised relief filigree and marked “Koken Companies, St. Louis”. The mechanism is set up with a hydraulic pump in pedestal as the full size one would be and can be operated by the handle on the side. SIZE: 15-1/2″ h x 8″ w. CONDITION: Near excellent. The nickel is slightly worn on the foot rest. The leather appears to be all original in great condition as is the porcelain which is free of chips and cracks. Nickel is in very good condition with some light pitting, particularly on the foot rest and leg rest. 1-12967 (16,000-20,000)
