FINE DELFT TWO-HANDLED BOWL. Probably mid-19th cent. This signed example of bulbous form with crimped flaring rim applied with intertwined branch handles paint decorated on the exterior with mountainous treed landscape, one side with a cherub gripping a spray of fruit. The pale blue interior centrally decorated with chateaus, floral sprays and flying insects throughout. SIZE: 4″ h. Overall diameter 9″. CONDITION: With minimal and minor rim flakes, the glaze and paint decorations generally in very good condition. No restoration noted. 9-96616 (400-600)
