SALESMAN SAMPLE HAY BALER. Exceptional nickel plated brass model with wooden platform and quality construction throughout. Resting on spoke wheels the elaborate gear mechanism appears to be externally powered by a belt drive. When activated large arm descends to pack hay into top hopper while tamper pushes completed product through the square shaft. One of the best and most elaborate examples we’ve seen. SIZE: 19″ l x 5-1/2″ w x 7-1/4″ h. CONDITION: Very good to excellent overall with wear and dulling to nickel finish, especially to wheels. Belt connection point has slight bend as does one wheel. Axles appear to have old repair (possibly dropped a long time ago). 1-12748 (3,000-5,000)
