FANBACK WINDSOR SIDE CHAIR IN GREEN PAINT. Late 18th century. This nice example in Windsor green over early salmon paint with a bow and arched crest rail terminating in scrolled ears. Nine spindles joined to the shaped saddle seat, raised on baluster turned splayed legs joined by a conforming H-form stretcher. SIZE: 36-1/2″ h of back, 17-1/2″ h of seat. CONDITION: Structurally very good. Painted surfaces mostly intact. 9-22034 (700-900)
