PENNSYLVANIA PAINT DECORATED PINE CUTLERY BOX. 2nd quarter 19th Century. Of rectangular form with sloping sides, the upper edges notched and fitted with a medial divider with pierced grip. Paint decorated overall in red-orange with applied mustard scrolling decorative highlights. SIZE: 5″ h x 13″ l x 7″ w. CONDITION: Structurally in very good condition. Exterior painted surfaces with wear. Interior showing wear to paint and wood resulting in interior paint with greater than 50% loss. 9-96689 (1,500-2,500)
