THREE PATENT MODEL FLY TRAPS. Includes examples by W. Riley (pat. April 27, 1858), #20,091; Henry G. Nelson (pat. April 6, 1875), #161,814 and H.L. Chapman (pat. Dec. 2, 1873), #145,093. All appear to use fly’s ability to fly up and not down. Tin construction with glass windows (blue example missing glass). All include patent tags, two with receiving tags, all include Peterson tags. SIZE: Largest is 6″ h. CONDITION: Generally fair to good. Triangular example shows rust and one foot is detached but present. Cylinder has some denting and newspaper residue.
