TIFFANY OCTOPUS LAMP. Exceptional Tiffany Studios lamp has octopus shaped shade with eight bronze tentacles descending from the fitter. The area between each tentacle is filled with geometric panels of bright amber, slightly opalescent glass. Shade is suspended from a base with two pillars supporting an arched top from which the shade hangs. Top of the arch is adorned with a gold favrile finial. Base is finished with a rich brown patina with green and red highlights. Shade is unsigned. Signed on the underside of the base “Tiffany Studios New York 448”. SIZE: 18-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with a few tight hairlines in the glass panels. 5-63714 (20,000-30,000)
