101 RANCH WILD WEST SHOW SOUVENIR OF “PRINCESS WENONA”. Princess Wenona, aka Lillian Fraces Smith (1871-1930), was a world champion rifle shot and rider who joined Buffalo Bill Cody’s Wild West Show in 1886 at the age of 15. She later teamed up with the Miller Brothers “101 Ranch Wild West Show” based out of Ponca City, Oklahoma, where she performed as the fictional Sioux Indian “Princess Wenona”. This is a rare souvenir from one of her shows that has hand calligraphy and her hand-tinted likeness on heavy cream paper stock, circa 1907-1915. SIZE: Sight: 4-3/4″ w x 8″ t.
