2 BANKS: BANK OF EDUCATION & FORTUNE TELLER. Scarce Bank of Education & Economy bank, nickel-plated: Dime is inserted through slot on top of bank and wheel is turned clockwise. Paper slip emerges with question on front side and quotation on reverse side. Fortune Teller bank, also a very scarce bank: Insert nickel in slot of lever and give lever sharp jerk backwards. This will spin the wheel. When wheel stops, pull lever forward as far as possible and fortune will appear in window. SIZE: Taller of two: 7″ h. CONDITION: The nickel plating on Bank of Education is extremely fine except for some minor blemishes, and still retains its paper roll with questions and quotations. Fortune Teller bank appears to have its original paper roll, but nickel plating shows heavy wear. 1-9879, 1-9954 (800-1,200)
