BRISTOL FISHING RODS 1909 POSTER. Artist illustration by Oliver Kemp of young couple bass fishing in their birch bark canoe. Bottom of poster reads “Copyright 1908 by the Horton Manufacturing Co. Bristol, Conn”. This image was also used on their 1909 calendar and 1910 catalog. SIZE: Sight: 19″ w x 28-5/8″ t. CONDITION: Good; has a number of closed tears, the most prominent being a 5″ vertical at 12 o’clock; some border tears and adhesive discoloration upper left hand corner; some color touch-up to small areas of paper loss at top margin. No trace of a calendar date pad ever being attached. 1-13194 (800-1,200)
