GILDED MOLDED COPPER SETTER WEATHERVANE. Mid 20th century. Attributed to E. G. Washburn & Co., New York. This gilded example with partial verdigris patina and with molded sheet copper ears. Joined to a rod, mounted on a museum stand. SIZE: (vane) 15″h x 33″l. CONDITION: Gilded surfaces with wear overall, seam split along top of figure in need of reinforcement in area of head. Absence of any marring from firearms. Overall structurally very good. 9-23372 (4,000-6,000)
