BUILT-IN PHONE BOOTH. Circa 1920s this great large decorative accessory that was once seen allover the world in some form or another but is now just a distant memory. Possibly removed from a hotel lobby, train station etc it was designed to be built into a wall as the front is finished, while the sides and back are not. Topped with brass “Telephone” marquee. The interior is lined with a textured tin and a period rotary phone that appears to be wired for modern use. Complete with early Emerson Electric “Bell System” rubber blade fan, seat and a couple vintage looking telephone related signs of more recent vintage. SIZE: 82-1/2″ h x 29″ w x 30″ d. CONDITION: Generally good to very good with wear and various chips and scratches to finish. Structurally sound. 1-12994 (400-600)
