IMARI OVAL DEEP DISH AND OTHER TABLEWARES. Mid-19th century. The oval deep dish with scalloped edge, the lobed fluted sides with underglaze blue paint-decorated feather decorations alternating with jade green lobes with underglaze blue feather decorations, centering an underglaze blue painted fanciful peacock in flight on a white ground, the exterior paint decorated in underglaze blue scrolling vinery on a white ground, the oval deep foot rim centering a recessed base with square underglaze blue maker’s mark. Together with late 19th/early 20th century Canton 4-1/2″ dia. tea bowl and associated 4-3/4″ dia. saucer and 3-1/2″ h. 3-part condiment, all in good condition.
