BIRD ON ROOF & BUTTING GOAT MECHANICAL BANKS. Manufactured by J. & E. Stevens, the Bird on Roof bank was one of the earlier banks produced in the 1870’s. Place coin on bird’s head, push lever and coin is deposited in building below. Bank has great folk art look. The Butting Goat bank was produced by the Judd Mfg Co. Draw goat forward to the edge, then raising his hind feet, goat butts penny into tree. SIZE: Bird: 6-1/2″ h. Goat: 5″ w.
